...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 745 PM EDT FOR SOUTHERN
SUSSEX...TALBOT...SOUTHWESTERN QUEEN ANNE'S AND SOUTHERN CAROLINE
COUNTIES...

At 510 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated the heavy rain has tapered
off but light to moderate rainfall continues. Two to three inches of
rain have already fallen for many areas and has caused some roadway
flooding. Additional heavy rainfall is expected later this evening
and overnight and may cause additional flooding.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Easton, Georgetown, Talbot, Seaford, Millsboro, Laurel, Federalsburg,
Bridgeville, Delmar, Trappe, St. Michaels, Dagsboro, Preston,
Smithville, Grasonville, Gumboro, Copperville, Agner, Choptank and
Windyhill.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
