...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT SOUTHEASTERN
BERKS...MONTGOMERY...WEST-CENTRAL BUCKS AND CHESTER COUNTIES...

At 501 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from Gilbertsville to near Gap. Movement was
east-southeast at 35 mph.

Winds up to 40 mph are possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Reading, West Chester, Norristown, Pottstown, Phoenixville, Lansdale,
West Norriton, East Norriton, Coatesville, Westtown, Wyomissing,
Perkasie, Doylestown, Downingtown, Conshohocken, Souderton, Ambler,
Kennett Square, Birdsboro and Collegeville.

Torrential downpours with this storm will cause poor visibilities
and ponding of water on roadways.

Occasional cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

These storms may intensify, particularly on the southern edge of
this line of storms, so be certain to monitor local radio stations
and available television stations for additional information and
possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
