...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT SOUTHEASTERN SUSSEX
COUNTY...

At 356 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from Lewes to near Henlopen Acres to
Selbyville. Movement was east at 20 mph.

Winds up to 45 mph and pea size hail are possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Lewes, Selbyville, Millville, Henlopen Acres, Cape Henlopen State
Park, Long Neck, Ocean View and South Bethany.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

If you are at the Delaware beaches, get out of the water and move
indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to
10 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you
are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter
now! Do not be caught on the beach in a thunderstorm.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
