...A THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT CENTRAL OCEAN AND EAST CENTRAL
BURLINGTON COUNTIES...

At 347 PM EDT, a thunderstorm was located near Barnegat, or 10 miles
south of Toms River, moving east at 35 mph.

Gusty winds to 40 mph, downpours and lightning will impact areas
through 4 PM from Island Beach State Park to Long Beach Island as
well as adjacent Mainland areas from Forked River to Barnegat and
Manahawkin.

Beachgoers and others outdoors should seek safe shelter. Heavy rain
and gusty wind will reduce visibility for boaters and motorists.
Minor ponding of water in poor drainage areas is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Barnegat, Beachwood, Tuckerton, Bamber Lake, Brookville, Warren
Grove, Bass River State Forest, Old Halfway, Penn State Forest, Beach
Haven West, Mystic Island, Ocean Acres, Manahawkin and Waretown.
