...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT NORTHEASTERN CARBON...MONROE AND
CENTRAL NORTHAMPTON COUNTIES...

At 725 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Lake Harmony,
or 12 miles west of Mount Pocono, moving southeast at 25 mph.

Winds up to 40 mph are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Mount Pocono, East Stroudsburg, Tobyhanna, Pen Argyl, Wind Gap,
Delaware Water Gap, Stormville, Brodheadsville, Kunkletown, Pocono
Pines, Gilbert, Pocono Raceway, Lake Harmony, Tannersville, Alpine
Mountain, Rossland, Long Pond, Albrightsville, Hernyville and
Kresgeville.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
