...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT NORTHEASTERN ATLANTIC...SOUTH
CENTRAL OCEAN AND SOUTHEASTERN BURLINGTON COUNTIES...

At 636 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over New Gretna, or
18 miles north of Atlantic City, moving southeast at 10 mph.

Winds up to 40 mph are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Egg Harbor City, Tuckerton, Port Republic, Bass River State Forest,
New Gretna, Wading River, Batsto and Mystic Island.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
