SOUTHWESTERN SUSSEX...CENTRAL WARREN AND EASTERN NORTHAMPTON
COUNTIES...

At 535 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms still moving through parts of the advisory area.
This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Newton, Washington, Blairstown, Belvidere, Oxford, Hope, Andover,
Great Meadows-Vienna, Allamuchy-Panther Valley, Greendell, Five
Points, Crandon Lakes and Brass Castle.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.

Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where
you are relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can become
killers in heavy rains. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or
creeks.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
