...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT NORTHERN QUEEN
ANNE'S...KENT AND SOUTHEASTERN CECIL COUNTIES...

At 405 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from Riverside to Newtown to North Point State
Park. Movement was east at 25 mph.

Winds up to 40 mph are possible with these storms.

These storms will be near...
  Newtown around 410 PM EDT.
  Betterton around 415 PM EDT.
  Kennedyville and Morgnec around 420 PM EDT.
  Crumpton around 430 PM EDT.
  Cecilton and Massey around 440 PM EDT.
  Chestertown, Hollywood Beach, Sassafras, Cayots, Warwick and
  Bohemias Mills around 445 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include Chesapeake City,
Kingstown and Galena.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
