SOUTHWESTERN DELAWARE COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...

The storms which prompted the warning have moved out of the warned
area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
northern Delaware...northeastern Maryland...southern New Jersey...and
southeastern Pennsylvania.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 430 PM EDT
FOR NORTHERN NEW CASTLE...NORTHERN CECIL...SALEM AND NORTHWESTERN
GLOUCESTER COUNTIES...

At 346 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Swedesboro to near Salem to Brantwood, moving
southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
         damage to trees and power lines.

Locations impacted include...
Wilmington, Newark, Elkton, Glassboro, Pennsville, Pitman, Carneys
Point, Paulsboro, New Castle, Penns Grove, Salem, North East,
Woodstown, Alloway, Quinton, Swedesboro, Delaware City, Charlestown,
Newport and Barksdale.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
