...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 AM EDT FOR
NORTHEASTERN MORRIS...SUSSEX...NORTHERN WARREN...NORTHEASTERN
CARBON...MONROE AND NORTHEASTERN NORTHAMPTON COUNTIES...

At 858 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain that will cause
minor flooding in the advisory area. Up to two inches of rain have
already fallen. Though the heaviest rain has left the region, it
will take time for runoff to recede. Therefore, the flood advisory
remains in effect until 1015 AM EDT.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Port Jervis, Newton, Montague, Mount Pocono, Hopatcong, Lincoln Park,
Kinnelon, East Stroudsburg, Tobyhanna, Boonton, Butler, Wharton,
Rockaway, Blairstown, Mount Arlington, Franklin, Mountain Lakes,
Stanhope, Riverdale and Hamburg.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
