The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Queen Anne's County in northeastern Maryland...
  Kent County in northeastern Maryland...
  Southeastern Cecil County in northeastern Maryland...

* Until noon EDT

* At 854 AM EDT...Doppler radar indicated heavy rain that will cause
  minor flooding in the advisory area. Up to two inches of rain have
  already fallen.

* Some locations that could experience flooding include...
  Elkton, Centerville, Chestertown, Centreville, North East, Rock
  Hall, Charlestown, Church Hill, Cecilton, Millington, Sudlersville,
  Betterton, Queen Anne, Warwick, Old Town, Grasonville, Starr,
  Jumptown, Newtown and Brantwood.

Additional rainfall of around one inch is expected over the area.
This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
