The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Central Carbon County in northeastern Pennsylvania...
  West central Monroe County in northeastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 445 PM EDT

* At 1244 PM EDT...Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
  Up to one inch of rain has already fallen in some areas with
  additional rainfall expected.

* Some locations that could experience flooding include...
  Jim Thorpe, Nesquehoning, Weatherly, Blakeslee, Albrightsville,
  Lake Harmony, Christmans, Stoddartsville, Meckesville, Lansford,
  Beaver Meadows and Tresckow.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated...or
ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
