New Jersey and northwest New Jersey.

Flood watch in effect for late Monday night through Tuesday evening.
There is also a potential for moderate to perhaps locally heavy
rainfall on Thursday. There is a higher than normal risk for flooding
with these events given that soils are already saturated and stages
in area basins are already elevated due to recent heavy rainfall.
There is still considerable uncertainty regarding rainfall amounts
and the extent of any flooding so please continue to monitor the
latest forecasts.

There is a potential for two rounds of moderate to perhaps locally
heavy rainfall this week. The first event is expected to occur
Monday night and Tuesday while the latter event is centered around
Thursday. There is a higher than normal risk for flooding with these
events given that soils are already saturated and stages in area
basins are already elevated due to recent heavy rainfall. There is
still considerable uncertainty regarding rainfall amounts and the
