...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE MONDAY NIGHT THROUGH TUESDAY
EVENING...
The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a
* Flood Watch that includes the New Jersey counties of Sussex,
Warren, Morris, Hunterdon, Somerset, Mercer, Middlesex and
Monmouth
* From late Monday night through Tuesday evening.
* Rain is forecast to overspread northern and central New Jersey
on Monday evening. The rain is expected to become moderate to
heavy from Monday night into early Tuesday morning. Rainfall
rates should decrease gradually during the mid to late morning
hours on Tuesday with the rain anticipated to end on Tuesday
afternoon.
* Rainfall totals of 1 to 2 inches are expected with locally

creeks may leave their banks. Minor flooding is possible in the
Passaic and Raritan River basins.
