Hi all,
I am happy to announce that my station power supply which was taken in for
repair on or around November 15, 2001 is finally repaired and I picked the
unit up today.
God I love this very high level of customer service! When I questioned the
management about the time frame this took, I was told "I don't know" over
and over agn. No serious offer of any kind of resolution. So I informed the
management that I would not be back.
This only gets better!
When I got home, there were 2 calls from this repair shop on the caller ID
system. About 10 minutes after I got home, they called agn. It was the same
"management" person I has spoken with in the repair shop. She explained that
the tech had "mitigating circumstances." When I asked about the
circumstances taking 3 months, the following statement followed: "Since you
didn't keep calling and checking on it, the tech was not motivated to get it
done." CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS!?!? (she also said she had to try to call me 4
times since I had left the repair shop... caller ID only had 2)
IT IS MY FAULT THAT THEY TOOK 3 MONTHS TO REPAIR THE POWER SUPPLY!!!!!!!
WHAT A COP OUT!!!!
Gee, I thought I was being a nice customer by not bugging the daylights out
of the repair shop.
The management of this shop never once took ownership of their mess-up. The
blame was all deflected to the customer... ME.
I am not naming the shop in this email because a person I have great respect
for is employed there. He had no part in this fiasco. However, I will be
glad to name the shop privately if you wish to avoid this shop. This shop is
in Great Falls.
Thanks for listening and reading.
