[MRIC] Inauguration Supprt

Gentlemen,

The Maryland Department of Social Services will be opening a shelter  
at Ritchie Coliseum at the UMD College Park Campus from 1600 January  
19th until 1200 January 21st.  They are requesting amateur radio  
support for the entire time to communicate back to DSS command center  
in Baltimore.  As Prince George's RACES is starting to get spread thin  
with supporting actions in our jurisdiction I am asking for support  
from other jurisdictions.

The kicker is, i will be leaving for vacation tomorrow, Friday the  
17th for vacation and will not be in town for the inauguration.  I  
will be online until about 2000 tonight to answer e-mail and questions  
after which time i will be off line making final preparation to depart  
tomorrow.

In my absence, Jim Baker N3XKJ will be in charge of Prince George's  
RACES/ARES.
