It was great to see all the ‘usual suspects’ as well as a few new ones. The location on base worked out just fine but it will be nice to be back at the NCO club next year when it will be newly remodeled. 

Entry to the base was the easiest it has ever been. A quick look at the license and in you go. We were all pleasantly surprised. The base commander waived all use fees as a welcome back to the group. 

Another surprise…no power line noise. I made contacts with Tim N6CC and Brian NI6Q in Arizona with my 40 meter man pack running 20 was into a seven foot whip! Amazing. More operating next year for sure. 

Many thanks to Craig and Eric for doing the heavy lifting to make this meet happen. Thanks to everyone for coming out and supporting the group and it looks like next year is going to be a blast. 

The new website will be up and running in the next few weeks and it looks like our Groups IO page has a volunteer to create and run it so that’s awesome.
