We had three excellent presentations:

Erik Brun - History of the 54th Coast Artillery (+)
Rick Ferranti - History of USFS radios
Bjorn Forseberg - Medieval Torture Device (aka 1915 WWI wireless broadband transmitter.

Although the swap meet was ONLY supposed to be on Saturday, it began just about from the moment a vehicle showed up riding low and dragging its muffler. Rules were mostly guidelines and we all had fun. There were five displays and Andy’s spy radios were a hit.

Radio ops - well I chatted with a guy on horseback on UHF, but Andy setup his PRC-515 and had a CW QSO with Tim (N6CC) and Brian (NI6Q); 600 miles on a 15’ whip and 20W of RF, not bad!

I am sorry to have missed the swap meet “this morning”, but based on what I saw in the preliminary (ahem) exchanges, it will be a humdinger.

Safe travels home. Don’t forget to order your 2022 MRCG gear for the memorial rebirth of the MRCG event. Next year this will be a HUGE, and EPIC event.
