No, this was referring to a spam email that was sent to the mailing list and several other addressees, with Tom's email address forged as the sender.

My HF antenna is an inverted V fed by ladder line, all made from THHN house wire with Ladder Snap insulators. I originally put a Polyphaser coaxial lightning arrestor on each conductor, but my T-368 made the discharge tubes flash over on voice peaks and maintain an arc until the transmitter was unkeyed. Now, I just ground the feedline when not in use with a bid DPDT knife switch just inside the window feedthrough, The knife switch disconnects the feedline from my balanced tuner and grounds both feedline conductors.
