The possibility of reoccupation of Bagram Airbase in Afghanistan has been in the news lately. Been looking at the current conditions and if you look at this video at just about 44 seconds in you can see the ground radio facilities and the four towers that have the air to ground stuff and other assorted communications antennas. My question is that there are two what appear to be trailer mounted vertical antennas with there own building located just below the air band building. Anyone have any idea what they are or what they were used for? Looking at the spreaders at the base of the towers I am speculating that they were intended as part of a HF installation?
