My antenna is a MiniWhip (E Field probe). It fits in the palm of my hand.
I have it in a weather proof enclosure at a height of 16 feet on a
fiberglass mast about 80 feet from the house. The 75 ohm coax is grounded
at the fiberglass mast base as well as the entry point to the house.
Inside I have a hombrew common mode choke that gives me about 5K at 400 KC.

In the past I’ve run active loops and they worked ok. Also used my 160M
inverted-L in the past.
