Hello Everybody,
Let me preface this by saying this ask is for something strictly for me.
I was able to get a PDF copy of Volume 2 of maintenance manual for the ARC-5 that deals with the VHF set up. I’m looking to include a T-23/ARC-5 and R-28/ARC-5 in my set up. The last piece I need is a J-28/ARC-5 junction box, and then I’m off to the races.
The projects I’m doing for museums move slowly. The AN/ARC-1 is ready to go to the shop - I just have to find some money and crystals that will be of some use before sending it there. The ART-13 needs the MT284-A mount ( just the rails. I have NOS Barry mounts ). The accompanying ARB for the ART-13 is complete and ready to go to the shop. The SCR-274-N is completed and working, and may be finding a new home on a C-47A done up in D-Day USAAF markings ( the same markings she wore when dropping US Paratroopers into Normandy on D-Day in 1944 - really cool - that radio is being donated). I have other project in the works, very much on the back burner ( ATB/ARB set, double RU-19 set, Torn Fud2 set ). I have some restored WW2 radios I’m open to sell, but they’re restored and complete, and the price reflects that ( although I’d just be breaking even on that stuff ). Money on any radio I sell goes right back into getting my unfinished radio projects completed. The WW2 radios I’d be willing to sell would be of interest to WW2 Jeep, Halftrack, 1/2 ton 3/4 ton 1 1/2 ton and 2 1/2 ton owners. 12 volt electrical system would be required.
