The receiver is either R-4 or R-4A/ARR-2 with DY-2A/ARR-2 dynamotor, mounted in MT-7 or MT-7A/ARR-2 rack on MT-5/ARR-2 mounting base. MX-2/ARR-2 power and audio shorting plug is required on the MT-7, which has no audio bus select switch. If MT-7A (with audio bus select switch) is used, then MX-2 should have its connection between pin 2 and 8 lifted.
Audio output should be to J-16 orJ-22/ARC-5, mounted on MT-78/ARC-5. Control box C-2/ARR-2 mounts on MT-4/ARR-2 and connects to the receiver with MC-215 type spline.
The antenna is AT-5/ARR-1.

My first ever surplus acquisition was an R4/ARR-2, bought in 1959 from Fair Radio. What ever happened to it? No clue....
