Boy that's slipped down the memory hole for me too Jack and Google
hasn't been much help but from a note, it may have been their CA-32.

I should correct my previous statement, as the CAI-125 ad from
Motorboating magazine says "the company also offers a frequency
synthesised SSB called the CA-35 MS/MKII that will never have to be
recrystalled or retuned".

They occupied a nice 20,000 sq. ft. building in Huntingdon Station NY
that now houses a company making fitness equipment and the latest proof
of life seems to be about 1981.    In the same ad they state "HighSeas
is built by Communication Associates Inc - the world's leading maker of
SSB equipment for commercial vessels".
