I have found some information on some CAI products, but earlier than
what you are
looking for.

Motorola put their brand on a couple of CAI products. The SA-100 is the
Motorola name
for the CA-26 transceiver. This is a hybrid SSB transceiver using a pair
of 6146s in the PA.
I found on eBay the manual for the CA-27 and CA-29, which were similar
but a little
more advanced. Example is that the CA-26 used mainly PNP transistors,
the CA-27 used
the same basic circuits, but implemented with NPN.

The SA-200 is  the Motorola name for a portable backpack transceiver,
about 20W
out all solid state. I can't find the CAI number for it, but think it
was something like
CA-20 or 22 or something like that.  Thanks to Bob for the manual for
that radio.

These two radios are late 60s or early 70s products. The same design
philosphy
and frequency generation scheme was used in both the above radios.

Like Bob, I have a CAI-125, but have no information on it, and haven't
had it on the
workbench yet.
