[MRCA] Tadiran PA-500 Solid State Amp Interfacing Question

The Tadiran PA-500 is a solid state 500W amp that interfaces with the
Motorola Micom series of milspec radios. The system is often used for HF
ALE comms.
I'm trouble-shooting a couple of the amps and have been trying to
interface the amp to a Yaesu HF transceiver.
Does anyone have experience or knowledge of what the PA-500 requires for
interfacing to a radio other than a Motorola Micom?
I have the amp working but still need to figure out how to get it to
detect band changes. I suspect the Tune and/or Ch Change inputs need to be
active.
Thanks for any suggestions & 73
