[MRCA] Fwd: Navajo Code Talkers - what they actually said!

Hi Rob - Yes, that too...Here is at least a variant of the dictionary the
Navajo's used. With a politically-incorrect cartoon cover..(Poor TBY!)

https://www.history.navy.mil/research/library/online-reading-room/title-list-alphabetically/n/navajo-code-talker-dictionary.html
(there is a modern "shorthand" phrase/item list with daily-changing symbols
still in use today..- keeps messages short)

Interesting that there were 14 different "tribes" who contributed to the
effort - and presumably used 14 different languages. Surely they were used
in like "pairs" within given large organizations to get around that
problem. Eg: Comanches served with the 4th Signal Company, 4th Infantry
Division at Normandy.... Yep, I need to get Nez's book and get smart...
Thanks!
