[MRCA] Transmitter to pair with a AN/GRR-5 Receiver

There is arguably nothing organic nor period that would go with that receiver. That said, there are a myraid of commercial, 100 watt class transmitters that would be operationally satisfactory (e.g.: Ranger, Challenger, WRL, etc.). ARC-5/274-N would work but not are not related. Maybe an ART-13 or a T-195/GRC-19? Any of these would make a strange combination, however. So, it comes down to simply select something and integrate them (muting, antenna xfer, etc.

I know this receiver was designed and issued as a stand alone and did not have a designated transmitter specifically paired to it. A local owner is asking this question (not me), and I don't really have an answer for this, other than maybe a BC-610, and that transmitter is way too large and rare for him to either find or use.
