[MRCA] Transmitter to pair with a AN/GRR-5 Receiver

Anybody got any ideas as to what transmitter might pair well with a AN/GRR-5 Receiver?  I know this receiver was designed and  issued as a stand alone and did not have a designated transmitter specifically paired to it. A local owner is asking this question (not me), and I don't really have an answer for this, other than maybe a BC-610, and that transmitter is way too large and rare for him to either find or use.
