[MRCA] AN/GRC-109

The little brown truck arrived two days ago and my GRC-109 was on board. Jeff, W1AEA certainly knows how to pack a radio!!! After getting through all the straps, tape, foam board, close cell foam, etc. I got a look at the radio system. He even included a 80 M Xtal!! In addition Jeff found the original TM and he is forwarding it to me! Great spirit lifter for sure. Being sequestered with two adult females, one 4 yr old great grandson, three dogs (one is a puppy), two cats, and (are you ready for this??) We have a female wood duck that used our front  bushes to sit on 10 eggs and the hatched so we have momma duck and her brood or 10 chicks! (HELP me PLEASE!!!!)

I have some FT-243 Xtals for both 80 & 40M so I will use the GRC-109 during the upcoming military field day in September.

(Psssst.....anybody have a 1L6 the want to sell?)
