"I'm hearing you guys decently in San Francisco. Normal noise here is
s9+20 so its a bit hairy
but I get 75% copy on NF6X and N6CC is actially close to 100%.

Receiving on a IC7000, ST6000 and model 19 teletype."

Hi Eric - Thanks for the report! I was running the PRC-47 at 100 watts and
an Inverted L....Seems 80 meters should be good for local NVIS at 1900
local but the band may have been starting to go long as NF6X was taking
some fades. I was printing him about 75% also..I would guess 40 meters
would be worse - but who knows. This IS Rocket Surgery! haha
Thanks for joining in - hope my Diddles were not driving your Mod 19 type
box crazy...Hope to hear you on Clatternet!
As you probably saw me just tell Mark I listened for the east coast MRCA
RATT guys this AM at 0630 local - no joy on them but there was some pretty
strong LSB non-English speakers on 7080 at the time. I also did not hear
MRCA RATT on the KFS SDR with its big antenna either. Maybe the smoke is
attenuating the signals...
