My fifteenth edition 94/95 edition list the following stuff under USA Ground, AM-2060 power supply for the PRC-25/77 the AN/GRC-106, GRC-193, GRC-206, GRC-213, MRC-138 along with couple pages just on the PRC-77 and PRC-104 along with lots of pages on newer sets like the PRC-113,117(A,B,C and D), 119, 126, 128, 130, 132, 138 along with all the URC series including the URC-92 (GSB-900), URC-100, 101, 104, 110, 120, 121 and URC-200. There is a paragraph on the AN/VRC family along with stuff on the VRC-64, 83, 86, and 87. Couple pages on the HF-80 system and more on the Harris RF-5000 Falcon family followed by a section on the Sincgars family including the VRC-87, 89 and 90 and that’s just the Tactical Ground Radios.

The Ground Based Communications chapter includes this like all the Harris stuff like the URC-103 1 kW system, the Harris URC-119/RT-1446 transceiver, the Motorola Micom family of HF radios along with all the other MSR and Sunair radios that were in use in the nineties.

The bulk of the book that includes chapters on microwave and Troposcatter radios, Naval Systems and equipment Air Force Communications, Satellite systems and equipment, Line and Transmission systems that still includes things like the TA-1/PT and TA312/PT telephones, Data and Text with items like the UGC-74 and UGC-114 terminals, Encryption and Security including the KY-57 family, Surveillance & Signal analysis and Antenna and mast.

If you’re working with radios built after the Vietnam War it’s a great resource, but if you’re looking for something that deals with all the stuff from back in WW2 or Korea that’s not the book for you.

Being most everything I deal with in the past ten years is newer that that old WW2 stuff I find the book real useful.

FWIW - I just shot some photos of the index pages for my 1985 copy. That'll let you get a feel for what's there. .

It looks like 1979-80 was the earliest version. You won't find more than a 1/2 page or so description plus photos for any particular piece of equipment, but it can be interesting to browse.
