Hi all,
I just wanted to close this topic. In the end, I decided to buy the 6000K bulb. I was mentally ready to return it if it was too blue/harsh. But much to my pleasure, the bulb is fantastic! It doesn’t seem blue at all, but it seems super bright. I bought this one:

I can recommend this bub. Especially since it plugs directly into the 4 pin socket that the fluorescent version used. Some of these LED T9 bulbs need separate wiring to its own power supply. This has it all integrated and works with your existing ballast.
Highly recommended!

Subject: Color temp for bulb over workbench
Hi all. Time for me to replace the dim T9 circular bulb in the magnifying glass lamp I use on the workbench.
Figuring I'll get a led replacement for the normally florescent bulb. I have a choice of 2700k 4500k or 6000k any opinions of which would give the best lighting for repair work?
Thanks
