I have the receiver, and its power supply as part of the whole
Czechoslovakian RM 31-M-a (Trinec) station, with the RS41 transmitter,
its power supply and the antenna tuner (all NOS, manufactured in 1968,
except the receiver which I brought back from Hungary several years
before I got the rest of the station). The station is the mission
equivalent of the US AN/GRC-19. The RS41 transmitter puts out 100 W
AM/CW/RTTY, and runs off a 220/240 VAC input power supply. I have the
manual of the whole system in Czech, but I also have a complete
technical description of the R-4 receiver in Hungarian (I speak
Hungarian, but never translated it to English).
Unfortunately I don't have a spare receiver-to-power supply cable that I
could help out Al with. I suggest to try to find automotive spade lugs
that may fit the connector contacts as a substitute. If There is a Czech
ham I was in contact with a few years ago who helped me out with getting
some other surplus parts, I'll get in touch with him and ask him to try
to find a cable. I also suggest to try to find the receiver power
supply, it works off 12 VDC for vehicular use or 110-120/220-240 VAC .
The receiver otherwise is a neat receiver, stable, although the audio is
slightly anemic as all the tubes (easy logistics) in it are 6BA6's,
including the audio output.
Good luck Al,
