I am new to this MRCA and want to make the trip to Gilbert. I have a few
items that I have been restoring, namely WW2 aircraft radios, but
nothing yet that I can use on the air.  My main reason for going is to
meet people and see all that is on display. I was in the signal corps
US Army from 1968 to 1971 and had much fun with RT-524s.  I had my own
in an M-151 jeep.  Our signal battalion had  GRC-26Ds, lots of GRC-19s,
VHF gear included TRC-24s that operated on A and C band 50-100, and
225-400 MHz.  We started using GRC-106s while I was there, and I had my
own personal "ham rig" called a MRC-95. It was a pair of Collins 618Ts
with antenna tuners 400 Hz supplies and remote control units. Anyway, I
am going to Gilbert and hope to meet a bunch of folks. Maybe next year I
will have a working transmitter?  I plan to be there for Friday and
Saturday at least.
