Ray, you may be thinking of a different radio, the PRC-117F or G. The first gen PRC-117 is VHF only, doesn’t have ICOM, and its ECCM is programmed via an internal table. 

The PRC-117 is interesting. The A/B/C versions are tactical VHF only, and the F/G is an entirely different radio from the A-D versions, from top to bottom. Why they kept the designation and just added revision letters to what is a completely different radio set is a mystery to me.
