I have two “C” model BC-611s that use that adapter. Ther is some noise, but not a lot. Works well for what I’m doing with the Handie Talkies.

You may experience a very slight amount of inverter noise. For a while the inverter contacts did not seem to fit the bottom door contacts on certain models but that seems to have been corrected. Take a peak as you close the door to make sure all contacts are being made as you may have to make adjustments.

Be careful when extracting the unit from the case as I don't think any bleeder resistors were installed on all the models but this may have been corrected. Handle with care - - keep away from the power supply contacts after removing from the radio or discharge with a resistor load.
