Subject: [MARC-MD] Antique Radio

About 10 years ago, my brother gave me an old radio that once belonged to his in-laws. I had high hopes of restoring it some day but it now has another decade of dust on top of the 8 decades of dust it had when he gave me the radio. If anyone in MARC is interested in this radio let me know at W3TMS at arrl.net and its yours for FREE. All you have to do is pick it up at my QTH or at a MARC meeting. Be forewarned, it is heavy...and yes, it includes the matching speaker.

Details:

American Bosch Magneto Corporation Model 28 manufactured circa 1928.
Originally sold for $132.50 (LESS TUBES!) in 1928. (As a reference point, a 1925 Ford Model sold for $300)

See <https://www.wbnoble.com/WN_articles/bosch_and_bogen_jds_2010.pdf>
for a complete electrical description of this radio.
