The non-adjustable "tuner" for the RT-671/PRC-47 is the standard base
section of the antenna. It has a stud on the bottom (just like the one on
the base section of the 15' whip) that just screws into the antenna output
insulator on the front of the radio. And then there is a ground lead that
attaches to the radio ground post next to the insulator. The adjustable
"tuner" is already built into the radio. The -14 manual does not show
what's inside the base.
