[MRCA] ARC-2 audio performance

I have a working RT-91 on the air, sort of.  I'm getting out about 30 
watts via a Heath HP-23A tamed a bit with a Variac.  The modulation 
looks OK but is measured to at 60-75% with a very good carbon mic.  My 
question is, if I dummy the 12H6 audio limiter filament and pull the 
tube, looks like I can get a bit more modulation, being careful not to 
overdrive. Anyone with some experience here?  The book says its 
impossible to over-modulate, via the limiter.  They are right.....
