You can try a hardware store for rubbery double  insulated wire, 2 and 3 
conductor.
Also, an appliance repair shop might  have some similar cordage.

folks 
anyone have a source for the right size 2 3 or 4 wire  cord that will fit 
in these plugs?. i also need to make up some cables to  fit in the ts series 
handsets and a motorola mic.   is there a  rubber bushing for a strain 
relief at the jack cord interface commercially  available?
