Thanks Jeep & Scott for the input. I was told it had both a synthesizer as well as a Master Oscillator and that if the synthesizer failed, the Master Oscillator took over. That's fascinating. I don't know anything about the fragility of components or the like but I suspect all equipment is subject to the ills of developing or new products/components. Think about all the early seleniums that were first thought to be a God-Send for self recovery. Hard to fault the unit now for having a transistor 😊.... I'm also assuming it was in the 200 Watt range?
Does anyone know who made these? Amazing how hard it is to find much on them. Perhaps because Google is not getting calls for information, it has no search finds to re-issue.
