I have most manuals for my grc-142. But I'm out of town till the 3rd. I'll look for it then. I some duplicates and some in pdf.
I have ac cords for the UGC-74 if anybody needs them.
Always looking for the printer cartridge for the late UGC-74, they seem to be hard to find.

Amazing the things you can learn on a slow Friday before a holiday weekend!  Apparently what I am working at building is something called a AN/VSC-2A installation. That’s a AN/GRC-106 with the MD-522 and UGC-74. I have found several documents on line but still have more questions than answers. First there is this big question about shift and I have decided for the time I will attempt to go with 850 Hz and see what happens, second after looking at the two or three images of an AN/VSC-2 that I was able to find I see that the passenger seat was removed and a table was installed to mount the UGC-74 teletype. I need to find some better drawings or information on how to fabricate that along with information on the DC power distribution panel that appears to be located under the MD-522 modem. If anyone has a TM 11-5815-331-14 they will part with that would be most helpful. And last but not least, with the tele printer taking up the passenger side and the cover on the back of the mutt how the hell did anyone get into the operator seat between the radio and the teletype?

The good things are that I have almost all the cables, connectors and the UGC-74. The AN/VSC-2 used some huge old school TTY machine that also required a separate motor generator to power it along with a huge blower to try to keep everything cool.
