Hi Dale,
No copy out here in the Pacific, as 80M is only good for NVIS to the
other islands during the day, as we often use it on the Hawaii Afternoon
Net as backup to 40M when the latter goes long.
But I do remember, a long time ago (well, at least 15 years) in a land
far away (from my current QTH) a similar exercise when Pete (WB2JWU) and
I set up a GRC-9 and a vertical and sent intel back to you in 5-letter
groups about a plaque located at some damn dam site. Great fun! As Brown
would say, Real Radio! Glad at least for MRCA to keep in touch and to
keep those memories alive. And glad to remember that there's one TBW-5
and one BC-611 in good hands, and alive and well!
