[MRCA] Aberdeen Rally This Week

I have tried on one or two occasions to get on the 3885 net but five in the morning local arrives too early for me! Hard to do that from the nice warm home QTH but in the field that's a tall order. Also I ran into problems with getting my 13.5 VDC bus working on the jeep so looks like my APRS plans have fallen thru! Thought I had the appropriate connectors to get everything together last night but found that I did not, but Aberdeen may fix that.
I asked for a space on the back row with the idea of maybe being able to string out the end of the antenna there so will have some separation for HF, also intending to use Soviet R-148 for 51.00 with no tone so see if that's a problem or not.

Well just don't blow out the front end of my Delco 5300 when using
the GRC-106 . :-)

Don't forget the early MRCA net on 3885, I've made it once from Aberdeen.

It's good to see that they did not schedule the event the same weekend as Dayton like last year and have gone back to one week before being that if it's a choice between Dayton and Aberdeen Dayton wins out every time.
