Whip is pointless below 7 mhz 

I have made a few contacts on 40 with mine

20 meters phone worked well,  did not seem to get RFI but 

I do not think I ever saw more than 150 watts DC out of my GRC106/M151A2 set
up 

 

You really need a remote Genset to do it right,  with the engine at High
idle

And the fan noise from the RT it's hard to hear much
