Thanks to all my fellow members for the creative  and well thought out 
suggestions.
Thanks to one of our members - - I think the best and simplest solution 
(KISS) is to use "road flares" - - a single flare in front of each solar 
panel. The panels are small enough so 1ea flare should do the trick. I 
am off to the local Farmers Supply.
