[MRCA] Ft. Miles Ops 2014 Posted

       Rays recent activity at Ft. Miles reminded me that I had not 
posted my  k4che 2014 Ft. Miles ops with the 519th  Battery.  My primary 
"radio mission" was to use the BC-611 and BC-1306 through the RM-29 to 
the main switch board via twisted pair  to link one of the officers on 
foot to the gun room of the bunker. The officer would be able to walk 
around the Fort etc and maintain contact.

        The BC-611 line worked great but the BC-1306 was the wrong 
choice for the exercise due to the transmit PTT delay. duhhhh The 
Transmit PTT delay created some confusing to the users and often several 
words  of each initial transmission would be lost. I was worried about 
audio levels using the RM-29 barefoot but the audio was excellent. 
Anyway it was fun.

interior of the bunker, my set up etc.
