Thanks for the check in this morning. I tried first barefoot with my 1943 No 19 MK11 Canadian Wireless Set. Second try I put it on my
homebrew twin 811A amp. Discovered I have already met a couple of you on air before. Sorry I was a bit light but conditions were not
all that great today (severe noise (crackling) so I will wait for a good day next time. I am running a stock No 19 set, wartime
production. I use a Hb Ac power supply and a HB tuner. I had nothing else, just the radioso made the connectors, tuner PSU etc.
I discovered the hobble built into these radios and now have around 15 to 20 watts out instead of the usual 5 to 6 . Since it requires
no mods to the radio proper I have no guilt in doing it. I posted the story of that on AM-phone (transmitter section.) Someone asked
of I was south with my set running portable. No I am at home in Prince Edward County near Belleville Ontario. Along with the No 19 I
have an operational ARC5 on 80M which I cathode modulate through the key hole. I may give it a try next week and see if I can make the trip with it running barefoot. Oh yeah I am using a longwire cut for 80M and end fed with single wire feed. I was using the original mic this morning and listening on the No 19 as well.
Tnx for the check in.

I know this may not be the right email for this note but hopefully it will find its way there.
