I thought about that today.  My guess no.  The BC-1306 and RT-77(*) have 
two control lines passed to the various power supplies to turn on or off the 
low, medium and high voltage sections.  There is no switch on the RA-6 to do 
that.  The T-R switch on the RA-6 switches the HV around between receiver 
and transmitter.  And although there is a plastic plug listed in the parts 
list to use in modifying a CD-1086, there is no wiring diagram of the modified 
cable in either the RS-6 or RS-6A manuals.
